A Namekagon Gnome ~ Needle-felting Kit

The Namekagon Gnome is a whimsical celebration of our flower & fiber farm. Gotland curls from our small flock of sheep become beards or braids (your choice!), Gotland roving wraps the body with a unique shimmer & shine, and these garden gnomes hold their own everlasting flowers from our flower farm and other natural accessories – see individual descriptions for details. In Sweden, these nordic gnomes are known as “Tomte” and they are guardian spirits over the homestead.  Our Namekagon Gnomes would be happy to watch over your homestead, or your pets and houseplants as well!

Perfect for beginner level needle-felters, you don’t need prior needle-felting experience for this project.  Similar to our traditional Northwoods Gnome/Swedish Tomte, with a few additional steps to create arms that can hold an object.  Kit includes materials to make 1 Namekagon Gnome.  Choose from the complete kit which includes a foam pad and 2 felting needles, or just the fiber supplies if you already have your own tools (or want to make more than one!).  A step-by-step guide with photos is included.  You will need a wire cutter for one cut.
